The Bible is filled with incredible blessings and promises that cover just about every area of life. But there is ONE benefit that is most important and opens the door to all the other benefits.
We read it in 2 Scriptures:
“This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.”(1 John 2:25, NSSB)
“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” (John 17:3, NASB)
Eternal life is THE BIG PROMISE, the Biggest Benefit of believing in Jesus.
Yes, when we believe the Gospel,God gives His personal guarantee, we will live forever with Him in dimensions and quality that are beyond our imagination.
I love C.S. Lewis' description of eternity with God as, “where one day is better than the next forever.”
New bodies that will never decay or experience pain. No battles with evil or temptation. Living in the love, joy, and peace of God without barriers.
Yes, living forever with God is most important because it is, well, “eternal.” It never ends and is absolutely filled with the glory of God.
